Datathon Hackathon

The Datathon, Switzerland's largest AI and Machine Learning (ML) Hackathon, organized by the Analytics Club and hosted by Europe’s biggest student-run AI and ML society, will take place for the 7th consecutive year in Zurich. This renowned event attracts top talents from universities across Europe, offering participants the chance to tackle real-world ML challenges in just 24 hours. From over 500 applicants, the most skilled students are selected to develop innovative solutions, supported by industry sponsors through workshops and mentoring. Join over 170 participants, including 30–40 reserved spots for ENHANCE alliance students, to showcase your creativity, network with industry, and compete in one of the most prestigious hackathons in the AI and ML scene.

You will work on real world challenges provided by one of the corporate partners (sponsors) in a diverse team of participants.

Data Science and Machine Learning experience.

• Fri. arrival and start in the afternoon
• Sat. challenges are introduced, 12 noon start of the Hackathon for 24h
• Sun. noon submissions and presentations, ceremony and apéro

You need to upload a up-to-date CV. Please note that CVs will be shared with sponsors as part of their recruitment program. If you wish to not take part, please contact us. 

Please be as detailed as possible when providing your answers.

You can register together in a team of 2-4 people or alone. Based on applications, we will team you up to create full groups of 3-4 people to participate in the Datathon. Team applications from 2-4 people will be prioritized. Note that if you register as a pair, you may be teamed up with another duo pre-event to create a full team for the hackathon. Please note: each person in a team has to apply individually. Please mentioned with whom you pair up with if this is the case.

After the application deadline, participates will be selected. Usually there are many more applicants than places available. Applicants are selected based on their Data Science and Machine Learning experience. When you are selected to participate, you will be asked to provide a list of preferences.

We are glad to be able to have reserved for ENHANCE students 30-40 places.

Zurich

A scholarship from ETH Zurich of CHF80 per day will be provided to ENHANCE students. For sustainable travel (tickets for proof required) additional CHF100 will be paid. After selection and your acceptance you will be contacted with the scholarship arrangement.
