Description

In contemporary Higher Education, student drop-out represents a multifaceted challenge that requires an integrated response. Key topics will include

  • Scientific framework and theoretical perspectives on student drop-out;
  • Data analysis and monitoring tools for drop-out prevention and reduction;
  • Overview of institutional actions and support services to address student drop-out;
  • Impact evaluation of strategies and measures and future strategic developments.

The programme is designed for Technical and Administrative Staff:

  • Involved in analytical, technical and organisational functions, including the management and use of information systems, data analysis and reporting;
  • Working in student-facing services such as academic administration, orientation, onboarding, tutoring and broader student support services.
