Description

The following application allows determining the resistant capacity of any section made out of different materials (for instance reinforced concrete or composite sections steel concrete) under axial, biaxial bending.

Expected learning outcomes

The objective is to determine the stresses and resistant capacity of any type of section.

Learning opportunity structure

The geometry of the section, the type of material and the combination of axial, biaxial bending are given, elastic stresses and plastification factor are determined. The Axial biaxial bending interaction diagram is also represented in desired case, in principal or non principal axes.

Quality assurance

The two-level mutual trust-based quality assurance scheme has been adopted:

  • at the university level: Universitat Politècnica de València has applied its internal quality assurance procedures and structures to the proposal of Section with fibers N My Mz it submitted to ENHANCE and to its implementation - the related learning activities,
  • at the Alliance level: the body composed of Education Officers has made decisions regarding the inclusion of Section with fibers N My Mz proposed by Universitat Politècnica de València to the Innovative Learning Campus part of the joint ENHANCE educational offer, based on the compliance with the formal requirements and ENHANCE goals.
