ENHANCE Comeback Event (Several Dates)

Are you ready for your next step? You’ve completed your study abroad experience at an ENHANCE partner university — now it’s time to reflect, reconnect, and turn that experience into your next opportunity.  The ENHANCE Comeback Event is a 2,5-hour online workshop designed for students who recently returned from study abroad. Studying abroad often changes how you see the world — and yourself. Returning home can raise new questions: What did I really learn? How can I use this experience in my future? What comes next? This event does not address administrative questions about your mobility. Instead, it focuses on reflection, personal development, and reconnecting with the ENHANCE community.

This interactive workshop creates space to reflect on your experience, exchange with other returnees, and translate your international learning into personal and professional strengths.

• Reflect on your learning and personal growth during your mobility
• Identify skills you developed abroad and how to communicate them in CVs or interviews
• Exchange experiences with other returning students across ENHANCE universities
• Understand and discuss reverse culture shock and reintegration
• Discover opportunities to stay engaged in the ENHANCE community

• Comeback & Reflection – How was it? Reflect on key moments and learning experiences from your mobility.
• From Culture Shock to Career Strength: Identify intercultural skills and translate your experience into career language.
• Reverse Culture Shock & Reintegration: Share challenges and insights about returning home.
• Once ENHANCE, Always ENHANCE: Explore ways to stay connected and discover new opportunities within ENHANCE.

👥 Who can join? Students who have returned from a study abroad at an ENHANCE partner university within the past six months. Participation in the ENHANCE Intercultural Prep Seminar is not required.

The event is particularly valuable for students who would like to reflect on their experience, exchange perspectives with other returnees, and explore how to translate their mobility into future opportunities.

The two-level mutual trust-based quality assurance scheme has been adopted:

• at the university level: RWTH Aachen has applied its internal quality assurance procedures and structures to the proposal of ENHANCE Comeback Event (Several Dates) it submitted to ENHANCE and to its implementation - the related learning activities,
• at the Alliance level: the body composed of Education Officers has made decisions regarding the inclusion of ENHANCE Comeback Event (Several Dates) proposed by RWTH Aachen to the Innovative Learning Campus part of the joint ENHANCE educational offer, based on the compliance with the formal requirements and ENHANCE goals.
